Coffee Ground

Coarse Grind. This larger coffee grind is best for brew methods that involve immersion in water, like a French Press.

Medium-Coarse Grind. This slightly smoother but still fairly large coffee grind is ideal to use with most pour-over brewers, like a Chemex.

How to prepare

To prepare a delicious cup of coffee, start with high-quality, freshly roasted coffee beans. Grind the beans just before brewing to preserve their freshness. Choose your preferred brewing method, whether it’s a pour-over, French press, or espresso. Next, heat water to the appropriate temperature, usually between 195°F to 205°F (90°C to 96°C). Add the coffee grounds to your brewing device or filter, and slowly pour the hot water over the grounds, ensuring even saturation.

Production

The production of coffee begins with the cultivation of coffee plants, primarily in regions with suitable climates. The plants are grown from seeds in nurseries and then transplanted to larger fields. It takes several years for the coffee plants to mature and produce cherries, which are the fruit containing the coffee beans. The cherries are handpicked when they are ripe, ensuring that only the highest-quality ones are selected.
